On 9/11, America lost much. We lost thousands of lives and two of our most iconic buildings, the Twin Towers in New York City. The whole world was affected by this event and till this day, things are not the same. There is more security in airports, the World Trade Center Site still is not finished even after Billions if dollars have been spent trying to rebuild it. While it will never be the same, it shows a quality that is Americans have. We rebuild. After the tragic events, we came together as one people, the American people. Firefighters and contruction workers cleared the site of debris and President Bush gave a speech reassuring Americans that everything will be alright. To this day, the World is an entirely different place.
While ISIS carries out attacks in Europe and try’s to infiltrate the United States, we stand hand and hand ready to wipe them out. We are Americans, we have a low tolerance for hate when it directly attacks our values and people. As the world changes, we have changed as well. Many see the events taking place as politically motivated while others see them as necessary. Today, the events are necessary. You cannot be an American and defend the atrocities that terrorists commit for the sake of their “Religous cause”. A radical Jihad that has cost the lives of people of all different backgrounds in the hope of creating a world where terrorism is accepted as the norm.
Unless we want to see more 9/11s around the world, we need to combat these radicals. Everyone in America especially needs to be ready to fight these crazed individuals. They are not right in the mind if they want to kill random people. On this 9/11, those who see our actions as unnecessary or who claim these events were fake, think of the families who know that their son/daughter or mother/father will never come home again. Those people were innocent but were killed for jihad.
America lost much on 9/11, and the battle isn’t over. We have a while to go. The world will never be the same again. No matter what we do, we have to remember that terrorists are not our friends, they are an enemy. They must go. Families are still aching and those who stand with terrorists and radical jihadist individuals make any sane person sick. We Americans will not tolerate your stupidity or defend your idiotic choices. You simply are unamerican.
Let us remember 9/11 and always fight on for what is right and not wrong. It’s the American way whether you like it or not.
