The building would have added more character to the Washington Avenue Loft District but it was never built. It was proposed in the mid first decade of 2000's. It was supposed to be built but the 2008 Recession put the breaks on the project and cancelled it. It would have been the 3rd over 20 floor residential building to be built during the time and the second new downtown residential tower after the Roberts Tower in over 50 years. Now it is fading away from the scene. No one talks about it anymore. This project is not the largest never built project. There were 3 others.
1. MW Tower- 1000ft, 90 floors
2. Mercantile Center- Mall, Hotel, Buildings ranging in height from 24 to 51 floors. (NOTE: Only one building was completed from this- the US Bank Building)
3. Bottle District- 630ft, 55 floors
