As St. Charles continues to grow, led by the massive Streets of St. Charles Development, a new building will rise here. The new building in question? A 60,000 square foot office and retail building that will be the second to last structure to be built on the Streets of St. Charles site. Along the bottom floor, 20,000 square feet of retail space will be available for retailers and restaurants. They do really well here. Above, 40,000 square feet of office space for anything from small offices to corporate satellite offices.
This has been declared as “Phase Two” of the Project even though there has been far more things built here that were not part of Phase 1. In particular, a large Residential Building, Parking Garage and AMC Movie theater have been built. In addition, some outlets have been developed and a Drury Hotel just opened on the Property. As stated earlier, this will be the second to last building built in the property as it will only only occupy the space directly below the current Drury Hotel. The last parcel to be developed is to the Due east. That is expected to be a Office tower Renderings revealed a while ago. No timeline for that has been announced yet.
This building joins the building boom at the Streets of St. Charles even though it begins in next year. Currently ongoing at the site, another Hotel, a Tru By Hilton, is under construction at the southern end of the site. That should be open by the Spring time. The Rendering on that project is below. The Streets of St. Charles replace an area favorite called “Noah’s Ark”, a restaurant that stood at the site.
