It is with great sadness that BuildingSTL News contributor and insider, Terrence Twain, has died at the age of 42. Terrence never wrote on Building St. Louis but contributed a lot to posts regarding the areas of Tower Grove South, South Grand, The Hill and The Grove regions of the city. Although Terrence rarely commented on posts he was still very much a key player in this situation. He always made sure to clarify that he is not related to Mark Twain but rather his own family line.
He was on the team since February 2017. Since that time, he never wished to take an official photo of himself for the website because according to him, all of his personality can be seen in a picture of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) himself. Terrence died due to lung cancer on Wednesday, May 17th at roughly 9AM. He died quietly with his close family at his home in Tower Grove South.
According to his brother, Luke, Terrance made clear to let them know that he wished he could see what is next for St. Louis and wishes me and the team luck on our future endeavors. He died with a whisper of “Wow”. This year, Terence started a controversy in Tower Grove South when he heard glass breaking in his alley back in january. His plans to put up Security Cameras were highly criticized by the residents of Tower Grove South but he put them up anyway causing controversy. His response to this, “My property, Not theirs”.
Terrence will be greatly missed
