Today, after a while of being on the old design, I decided to update to Version 6. Version 6 brings a new design that is simpler and looks better across all platforms. The new design also makes searching the website even easier as you can access it at the top of every single page and post on Building St. Louis. While the main design and features remains the same, post designs are quite different and will require a little time getting used to (when viewed on desktop).
Version 6 will help pave the path for our Map, Data and History categories that will be introduced in the coming weeks. History will include the History of things in our region that have since disappeared. Maps and Data will be featured in each individual post from October 1st onward.
There are some issues though in this update that will require a little time to fix up. The most common issue is "The Archives" date selector not working correctly, and in some cases, not showing up. Other issues include the search button not recognizing that you would like to search. If this happens, please try to refresh the page. If it continually doesn't work, please contact me on my profile which can be found under "Information".
Below are two more views of the new design. The Blog Archive Page and the new menu bar.
